The story

Artist & retired technology executive

A builder’s mind. An artist’s eye.

Frank B. Giovingo Jr. is a New Orleans-area artist whose path has never fit neatly inside one title.

Educated in New Orleans and at LSU, Frank spent decades building technology companies, network infrastructure, and business systems. His work combined engineering, leadership, service, and the instinct to make complicated things understandable.

Then paint took center stage. Guided by artist June Lampe and grounded in traditional oil technique, Frank developed a long-running body of crab paintings—each with its own color, personality, and Louisiana pulse.

Today, fine art, CRAB.ART, storytelling, and a new travel project are becoming one connected record of a curious life still very much in motion.
